Salesforce Developer

Remote (U.S.) | Full-Time | Direct Hire

Our client is a fast-growing Salesforce consulting partner with a fully remote team of certified professionals. They are adding a Salesforce Developer who enjoys solving real business problems with code, works directly with clients, and wants a long-term home where certifications and growth are rewarded.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Fully remote. Work from anywhere in the U.S. with a close, collaborative team.
  • Certifications that pay. Bonuses and base salary increases for earning targeted Salesforce certifications, with exam costs covered.
  • Real ownership. Equity, profit sharing, and a 401(k) with a company contribution.
  • Solid coverage. Medical insurance, disability coverage, and life insurance.
  • Time to recharge. Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • Purpose built in. Paid volunteer time for nonprofit causes.
  • A team people stay with. The firm has been repeatedly recognized as a top regional workplace, and its employee and client reviews are consistently strong.

About the Company

This consulting firm helps organizations get more out of Salesforce by connecting their people, processes, and data. Their work spans implementation, integration, automation, analytics, and AI for clients in the commercial, nonprofit, higher education, and public sectors. The culture is small enough that your work is visible and established enough to offer stability, and it values teamwork, initiative, and treating people well.

The Role

You will join a delivery team of certified Salesforce professionals and help shape specifications, contribute to solution design, and build on the platform to meet client needs. This is a client-facing role, so clear communication and comfort collaborating with business stakeholders matter as much as technical skill.

What You'll Do

  • Build and deploy Salesforce solutions using Flows, Lightning Web Components, Apex classes and triggers, and Visualforce
  • Favor declarative configuration where it fits, and write code where it adds value
  • Create integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, Apex, and iPaaS tools
  • Design data models, user interfaces, business logic, and security for custom applications
  • Turn documented business use cases into working, maintainable solutions
  • Contribute to new native products built on the platform
  • Partner with consultants, project managers, business analysts, architects, and sales teammates to deliver great client outcomes
  • Take part in the full development lifecycle, from technical design through testing and deployment
  • Join design reviews, assess technical options, and help clients choose the right approach
  • Troubleshoot and support existing solutions, and route issues to the right teammates when needed
  • Keep up with Salesforce releases and recommend how new features can help each client

What You Bring

  • Salesforce Platform Developer certification
  • At least 1 year of hands-on Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce API development
  • At least 2 years of overall IT or software development experience
  • Experience designing and building integrations between Salesforce and other applications
  • The ability to view a problem through a business lens, not only a technical one
  • Self-direction and follow-through with minimal oversight
  • Comfort analyzing and presenting business data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Success working both independently and as part of a team
  • Energy for a fast-paced, small-company environment
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, Agile, and Scrum

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 1 year of Salesforce administration experience
  • Lightning component and JavaScript development experience
