Command Center Lead
Join DHL Supply Chain and lead a high-performing global Command Center organization!
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for operations, customer excellence, continuous improvement, and people development? We are looking for a Command Center Lead to drive operational performance, lead multiple specialist teams, and shape the future of our Service Logistics Command Center.
In this highly visible role, you will combine strategic leadership, customer engagement, operational excellence, and innovation while managing a large team of experts supporting global logistics operations.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and develop multiple teams within the Command Center organization
- Drive operational excellence across the end-to-end logistics chain
- Act as the main operational escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders
- Support commercial activities, contract renewals, business growth opportunities, and solution design initiatives
- Own and optimize service delivery processes while identifying efficiency and cost-saving opportunities
- Drive innovation, digitalization, and AI-related initiatives across the operation
- Ensure compliance with global standards and ISO requirements
- Lead quality management activities, audits, KPI governance, and continuous improvement programs
- Manage operational budgets and support financial performance through cost-conscious decision-making
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, development, and customer satisfaction

- Proven experience in leading managers and larger operational teams
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic mindset with a strong operational focus
- Experience in process improvement, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
- Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Fluent English is a must; additional languages are an advantage
