POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about business development and building lasting relationships with entrepreneurs? We’re looking for a Commercial Account Manager who will leverage their relationship-building strengths and network in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region to generate new business opportunities while taking great care of an existing client portfolio.

Your goal? To make a real impact on the success of Canadian entrepreneurs by providing financing solutions and advisory services tailored to their needs. CHALLENGES TO BE MET

• Meet with entrepreneurs, clients, and prospects to understand their businesses, identify challenges and business needs, provide advice, and recommend appropriate BDC solutions.
• Execute an action plan aligned with Business Centre objectives to support the growth and retention of clients within the existing portfolio.
• Acquire new clients and build a pipeline of business opportunities.
• Analyze, negotiate, and present financing proposals while exercising sound credit judgment.
• Be active in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges business community, including through associations and chambers of commerce, to grow your network.
• Build business relationships and generate referrals to support new client acquisition.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration.
• More than 2 years of relevant experience in commercial credit or business analysis and development.
• Demonstrated business development experience, with a proven ability to achieve objectives.
• Ability to provide sound advice and deliver a high level of client service.
• Ability to build lasting, trusted relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.
• Strong team spirit.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a results-oriented approach.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of the business environment.
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship.
• Well-established network in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region.
