  • Develop and execute commercial and agronomic strategies, including technical and commercial trials, product positioning, demand generation campaigns, and sales enablement activities that create customer value and drive market adoption.
  • Work closely with growers, distributors, customers, and Customer Facing Squads to identify, develop, and convert commercial opportunities, providing the technical, agronomic, and commercial support needed to deliver sales growth.
  • Partner with Portfolio Enablement teams to bring customer, market, agronomic, and commercial insights into future portfolio decisions, ensuring alignment between current market opportunities and long-term business strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry bodies, associations, and key stakeholders, representing Bayer externally while staying ahead of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes.

Who you are

  • 5+ years' experience within the Horticulture and/or Roots market across the UK & Ireland, with strong technical and agronomic expertise.
  • A commercially minded professional with experience in market development, product positioning, commercial trials, demand generation, and sales growth.
  • Proven ability to translate technical and agronomic knowledge into compelling customer value propositions and commercial outcomes.
  • Strong business planning, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to support and enable sales teams while building trusted customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Customer Facing, Demand Generation, Technical, and Portfolio Enablement teams.

What makes you successful

  • You combine strategic thinking with a strong focus on execution and commercial results.
  • You are customer-focused and able to connect agronomic expertise with market opportunities and business growth.
  • You build credibility and influence with growers, distributors, industry stakeholders, and internal teams alike.
