The Commercial Pricing Analyst sits in the Commercial team, reporting to the VP of Commercial. You'll analyse how our prices and discounts perform, and turn that into recommendations that grow revenue and margin across every category. You'll also help shape each category's pricing strategy, and contribute to building and maintaining the commercial architecture..
The work combines financial modelling, experimentation and commercial judgement. You'll launch and measure price experiments, build and report on unit economics, and make clear proposals based on structured analysis. Your analysis feeds straight into decisions on what we patients pay and how profitable Numan is.
This role suits someone who is data driven, curious about why customers buy and stay, and wants responsibility for impactful decisions.
You will:
Help shape the pricing strategy for each category, bringing the analysis that underpins it. Maintain the pricing system we run on, the price architecture, promo rules and guardrails that category leads work within, and flag when it needs to change as the market moves.
Analyse price points and discounts across categories. Recommend changes that improve margin and competitiveness, then track their impact on conversion, retention and profitability.
Design pricing and discounts tests in conjunction with the Growth, Marketing and Finance teams, agree success measures and guardrails before launch, and read the results with statistical rigour.
Report on revenue, margin and unit economics by category, product and cohort. Flag trends, risks and opportunities early.
Support quarterly planning and forecasting with Finance. Track actuals against plan and explain the variances.
Track competitor pricing and propositions across the UK market, and turn changes into clear implications for our positioning.
You will have:
A degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or another science or quantitative subject
3+ years in pricing, commercial or financial analysis
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with advanced Excel or Google Sheets
Comfortable with experiment design and the statistics behind it
Clear communicator who can present complex data simply
Strong attention to detail, and comfortable working at pace
