Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Commercial Broker at Vermaak Properties. The Commercial Broker will source and manage commercial property listings, conduct market research, and advise clients on leasing, purchasing, and investment opportunities in the JHB region. Daily tasks include prospecting new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, preparing proposals and marketing materials, and coordinating property viewings and negotiations. The role also involves analyzing market trends, assessing property values and investment returns, and collaborating with internal team members to deliver seamless client service. The Commercial Broker will use digital communication tools to manage client interactions, update CRM systems, and ensure accurate documentation throughout each transaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Brokerage and Sales to manage listings, negotiate deals, and drive new business.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Finance and Insurance to understand transaction structures, risk, and investment returns.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, maintain relationships, and provide responsive client support.
• Candidates should have solid communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Relevant experience in commercial real estate, property management, or investment sales is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with the JHB property market, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, is preferred.
• A relevant diploma or degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field, and valid brokerage accreditation or licensing (where applicable), are advantageous.
