Job Description
Commercial Data & Asset Specialist
Sofia
10/20/26

As a Commercial Data & Asset Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that dormakaba’s product data and digital assets are well organized, easily accessible, compliant, and ready to support marketing, e-commerce, and digital experiences worldwide.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of commercial content across our core platforms: the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, the Product Information Management (PIM) environment, and the SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) e-commerce platform. By maintaining metadata standards, taxonomy and attribute structures, asset and data quality, and governance processes, you will help teams find, reuse, and publish the right product information and content efficiently and consistently across global channels.

This is an opportunity to join an international environment where your work will have a direct impact on content quality, operational efficiency, and the consistent presentation of the dormakaba brand.

  • Manage and continuously improve the day-to-day administration, organization, tagging, maintenance, and publication readiness of digital assets within the DAM platform, applying metadata standards, taxonomy structures, naming conventions, usage rights, and version control.
  • Support asset intake, approval workflows, quality checks, publishing, asset lifecycle management, and the archiving or deactivation of outdated or non-compliant assets, and maintain digital asset libraries of reusable campaign, product, and brand assets.
  • Perform quality checks to identify missing metadata, incorrect tagging, duplicate assets, outdated versions, expired usage rights, accessibility issues, compliance gaps, and broken asset references, and act as a reliable point of contact for DAM users.
  • Manage and enrich product information in our Product Information Management (PIM) platform (Akeneo), including product models, variants, attributes, marketing texts, and product-related media.
  • Maintain product data quality and governance in the PIM: monitor the completeness and correctness of product records, coordinate corrections with product management, product marketing, and data owners, and support attribute, validation, and enrichment standards.
  • Support product content operations in legacy PIM (Hybris) Backoffice, synchronization and publishing, product-related media and download documents, and the ongoing maintenance of the existing legacy product content management platform.
  • Work closely with international stakeholders across creative and content production, product marketing, campaign operations, localization, brand governance, web content, and market teams to collect inputs, clarify requirements, and make approved assets and product data available, and identify opportunities to simplify workflows and strengthen governance practices.
  • A content and data management profile: proven experience in managing structured product data and digital content across systems such as a PIM, DAM, CMS, and/or e-commerce platform, with a solid grasp of data models, metadata, taxonomies, and publishing workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Product Information Management and/or Digital Asset Management platforms, covering product models and variants, attributes and classification data, catalog and category structures, enrichment, and approval and publishing workflows.
  • Experience in e-commerce or digital content operations, including coordinating product data and media across channels, systems, and country storefronts.
  • Strong understanding of product data and digital asset lifecycles, content and data governance, usage rights, and quality management.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding metadata quality, tagging accuracy, duplicate detection, asset status, expiry dates, file naming, usage rights, and version accuracy.
  • A structured way of working, with the ability to manage multiple asset requests, quality checks, dependencies, and workflow tasks in parallel.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across marketing, creative, digital, product, localization, and brand teams.
  • Fluent business English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with DAM Cloudinary.
  • Hands-on experience with Akeneo PIM, CRM systems, product content management, and web content management systems.
  • Professional background in a corporate agency, shared-services, or digital marketing operations environment.
  • Knowledge of brand governance, digital content publishing, localization processes, and marketing operations.
  • A degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Information Management, Communications, Digital Asset Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certification in Digital Asset Management, metadata management, taxonomy, content governance, brand management, or digital operations.
  • Additional language skills, depending on the scope of the position.
  • Best opportunities in a globally operating company valuing diversity, inclusion, sustainability and mutual trust
  • Attractive remuneration package
  • Hybrid working model with a home office allowance
  • 25 days paid annual leave
  • Additional health insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program (mental health, legal & financial counseling)
  • Food vouchers (102.26 EUR)
  • Public transportation card
  • Optional parking space
  • Multisport / Coolfit card
  • Language training opportunities
  • Employee referral program
