As the Commercial Finance Analyst, you will support the Finance Manager through the execution and delivery of efficient, standardised, and high-impact reporting, planning, and analysis delivering sharp financial intelligence that fuels bold, data-backed decisions and unlocks future growth for the Client Partnership Division. You will be working right at the heart of the action, you will actively partner with business leaders to align operations with overarching strategy and supercharge long-term profitability!

As the Commercial Finance Analyst, you will support the Finance Manager through the execution and delivery of efficient, standardised, and high-impact reporting, planning, and analysis delivering sharp financial intelligence that fuels bold, data-backed decisions and unlocks future growth for the Client Partnership Division. You will be working right at the heart of the action, you will actively partner with business leaders to align operations with overarching strategy and supercharge long-term profitability!
Responsibilities
- Create, consolidate, prepare, and own the initial budget, monthly financial results, and quarterly forecasts across all revenue and expenditure lines.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive sound commercial decisions and collaboratively implement strategic process and efficiency improvements.
- Deliver high-quality, robust reporting to key stakeholders, combining financial and non-financial metrics with a focus on surfacing market trends and lag indicators.
- Analyse business performance trends and underlying drivers to explain variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Continuously monitor ongoing financial performance to proactively identify, evaluate, and manage potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop actionable recommendations to enhance portfolio budget management while continuously identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.
- You have 3+ years of experience in a similar role and CA/CPA qualified.
- You have strong commercial mindset and accounting competency with demonstrated expertise in revenue and cost management.
- You're skilled in business case development and advanced financial modeling.
- You're a strategic thinker and self-starter who applies a practical, commercial approach to business opportunities.
- You have exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities with a proven knack for partnering and influencing.
- You're highly resilient with the proven capability to manage and deliver on competing deadlines.
