Reporting to the GM FP&A, the Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A will act as a senior commercial partner to the business, delivering strategic financial analysis, enterprise-wide insights and executive-level reporting for the Executive Leadership Team, Board and Investors. This six-month fixed-term contract will lead key forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting activities, while playing an important role in the implementation of Adaptive Planning. Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation, you will translate complex financial information into clear recommendations that shape decision-making and business performance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of financial models underpinning the five-year business plan
  • Own the preparation of high-quality Board and Executive reporting on KPIs, performance drivers and emerging risks and opportunities
  • Provide commercially focused financial insights to support investor and analyst communications
  • Deliver corporate-level financial reporting, forecasts and scenario analysis, clearly articulating trends, business impacts and strategic implications
  • Partner with business units and GM-level stakeholders to drive the successful implementation and adoption of Adaptive Planning
  • Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and influence decisions through robust analysis and trusted commercial advice
  • Maintain strong financial governance and ensure compliance with legislative, company and risk management requirements
  • Act as a senior member of the finance team, contributing expertise, constructive challenge and leadership across shared priorities
  • Coach and support colleagues, strengthening capability, collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the team


What You'll Need to Succeed


  • Significant experience in a Senior Financial Analyst, Senior FP&A Analyst or comparable commercial finance role, ideally within financial services or a similarly complex, regulated environment
  • CA and/or CPA qualification, supported by significant post-qualification experience
  • Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting capability, with a strong understanding of business performance drivers
  • A proven ability to convert complex data into clear, commercially focused recommendations for senior decision-makers
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging and influencing at GM, Executive and Board level
  • Experience preparing Board reporting and exposure to investor relations or external stakeholder communications will be highly regarded
  • Experience with financial planning systems or transformation initiatives, including Adaptive Planning, would be advantageous
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the judgement and resilience to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
  • A collaborative and influential style, with the ability to build trust quickly and deliver meaningful outcomes within a six-month engagement
