Title: Commercial Finance Analyst
Location: Eindhoven (Hybrid)
Department: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Position Summary
Fluke is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the EMEA FP&A team. The role provides key financial analysis to support business decision-making and business growth. Alongside recurring operational activities, the position offers opportunities to take initiative, improve processes, and develop professionally.
Key Responsibilities Daily Activities
- Provide insight into bookings, shipments, rebates, margins, and monthly outlook.
- Support stakeholders with accurate analysis to aid decision-making.
- Continuously improve and adapt existing reporting and analytical processes.
Monthly Activities
- Forecast bookings, shipments, and margins.
- Explain variances versus previous forecasts and actual results.
- Align forecasts with business stakeholders.
- Report forecasts into financial reporting systems and business intelligence dashboards.
Annual and Project Activities
- Support annual planning processes.
- Participate in rebate programs, price adjustments, and business integrations.
- Create new standard work and improve processes.
- Develop or enhance interactive dashboards and analytical tools.
Business Partnering
- Provide high-quality analytical support to the business.
- Solve business problems and respond to stakeholder requests.
- Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to increase sales and margin.
- Develop strong business understanding and contribute to business growth.
Your Team
The EMEA FP&A team is an international and diverse group of seven team members. Team members have individual specialties while working closely together to support each other. The team operates in a dynamic environment driven by deadlines, innovation, and collaboration.
Experience & Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory.
- Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, Python, or other analytical tools is preferred.
- Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, and/or 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis.
- Experience in an international corporate environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in English.
