You’ll be joining our Finance Depratment within our office called Support Centre, which is in Greater Manchester (M26 1GG).

This role is to help improve the level of analysis currently available to the leadership team and field managers to aid decision making.

• The role is permanent and full time

• Hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office - Tuesdays and Thursdays

• You will benefit from free onsite parking and Kearsley train station is just a short walk away

• With an onsite mini market shop and casual seating space inside and outside (for the sunnier days)

Your future, your role

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll be:

• Producing and developing weekly analysis for use by leadership team.
• Initial financial appraisal of investment opportunities
• Supporting in Budgeting and Forecasting Process
• Assume responsibility for weekly analysis on a key {my}dentist initiatives
• Provide analysis to help managers understand and respond to any cost overspends.
• Provide a summary of performance on specific areas of the P&L identifying any issues and trends to Commercial Finance Team
• Continually work to improve the efficiency of analysis/management accounts generation, so that P&Ls are released earlier, and earlier indications are given of revenue and costs
• Support with ad-hoc requests and strategic project work

Skills and Expereince

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience of Power BI
• Experience of building data models
• Logical, structured thinker
• Enthusiastic / positive
• Calm, with an ability to work to, and meet, key deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Quick learner
• Independent and uses own initiative
• Team player & relationship builder
• Part Qualified or Qualified with a professional accounting body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
