This is a remote position.

As a privately owned company, we make decisions quickly and give our brokers the freedom to take ownership of their business. You'll have direct access to experienced leadership and the opportunity to build and grow a profitable book of business.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with retail insurance agencies.
- Evaluate commercial risks and determine marketability and coverage strategy.
- Analyze submissions, identify underwriting concerns, and structure solutions for complex E&S risks.
- Market submissions to E&S carriers and negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage.
- Present coverage recommendations and underwriting solutions to retail agents.
- Manage accounts from submission through binding.
- Build and grow a profitable book of business.
- Stay current on carrier appetite, underwriting guidelines, and market trends.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience in commercial insurance, brokerage, underwriting, or a related role, with a desire to continue developing your expertise.
- An understanding of commercial insurance risks and coverage, or the ability and willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate accounts and identify solutions.
- Relationship-building skills and an interest in developing long-term retail agency partnerships.
- An interest in both underwriting and business development, with the drive to build and grow a profitable book of business.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the initiative to take ownership of your success.
- An active Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain one.
