Commercial Lines Mid-Market Producer

Location: Remote, Remote, TX POSITION OVERVIEW: Salary $60000 per year to $130000 per year plus commission!Cell Brokerage is seeking a Commercial Lines Producer. This person will be responsible for prospecting and generating new commercial property and casualty business based on the needs of the commercial client. This person must be a self-starter with proven success working with medium-large scale ($50K in revenue and above per account) commercial clients in diverse industry segments. Broad based knowledge of commercial exposures and commercial insurance policies a must. This position, ideally will work out of our Las Vegas, Nevada Office, our Northwest Phoenix, Arizona Office or could be remote, based in New Orleans, Louisiana or Texas for the right candidate.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Prospecting, contacting commercial enterprises, and evaluating their insurance needsResearching the various policies of insurance companies and finding the best policies for the clientsCompleting applications, requesting loss runs, filling out applicable forms, and servicing clients throughout the lifecycle of the policySupport new and existing accountsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsDevelop and maintain relationships with carriers, wholesalers, brokers, and underwritersExceed production goalsMeet with or contact accounts 90-120 days prior to renewals to review strategy changes or additions required in coverage and prepare renewalsKnowledge of commercial and insurance lawsMaintain knowledge of new productsPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years selling commercial lines, preferably all 5 years at the mid-market levelValid P&C Insurance LicenseExperience with medium to large commercial accountsEstablished connections with commercial carriers, wholesalers, brokers, and underwritersFamiliar with stand-alone coverage as well as commercial package policiesWorking knowledge of ACORD FormsValid Driver’s LicenseWorking knowledge of commercial carriers, wholesalers, and brokersExcellent presentation skillsOutgoing, goal-driven, and detail orientatedPreferred Qualifications: Established Book of BusinessBachelor's degreePrior management experienceEssential Physical RequirementsMust be able to work from a sitting position for extended periods of time.Must be willing and able to work in front of a computer monitor for extended periods of time.Must be able to work on a standard computer keyboard for extended periods of time.Must be able to work in a cubical environment during the workday with limited or no distractions.Employee Benefits Include: Medical PlanDental PlanVision Plan401kLive Health OnlineLife InsuranceDisabilitySupplemental BenefitsNo waiting period to use accrued PTOTrainingEmployee Assistance ProgramNational Discounts & much more!NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
