Commercial Litigation Lawyer (2–6 Years’ Call) – Securities Litigation & Regulatory Disputes | Toronto (Bay Street)

Cartel Inc. is seeking an ambitious Commercial Litigation Lawyer (2–6 years’ call) to join a premier Bay Street law firm’s high-ranking litigation and dispute resolution group in Toronto, Ontario. Designed for an associate looking to elevate their practice on an elite platform, this hybrid opportunity offers direct exposure to high-value corporate litigation, capital markets disputes, securities class actions, shareholder conflicts (including oppression remedy claims), and regulatory enforcement proceedings before the Ontario Securities Commission and administrative tribunals.

Working closely with market-leading litigators, the successful lawyer will drive all stages of the litigation lifecycle—from initial case assessment, pleadings, and advanced legal research to drafting factums, conducting contested motions, appearing before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Court of Appeal, and advising corporate boards, financial institutions, and executive clients. Candidates must be members in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario with 2 to 6 years of post-call commercial litigation experience; prior background in securities enforcement, white-collar defence, or capital markets disputes is strongly preferred.

This position features market-leading Bay Street compensation, a performance-based bonus structure, flexible hybrid working arrangements, and a clearly defined, transparent path toward partnership within a collegial, high-performance environment.
