London
Currys London Campus at Waterloo / Hybrid Working

Full Time
Grade 4

At Currys we’re united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.

Ready to take ownership of one of the most exciting and fast-moving areas of technology? As our Commercial Partnerships Manager for Computing at Currys Business, you'll lead the commercial performance and growth of a market-leading portfolio spanning laptops, desktops, tablets and accessories. Working with some of the world's biggest technology brands, including Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, HP, Dell and Microsoft, you'll shape category strategy, drive commercial performance and build influential supplier partnerships. With end-to-end responsibility for trading, pricing, supply, negotiations and partner investment, this is a high-profile role offering genuine ownership, visibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on our ambitious growth plans.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving category performance by owning sales, margin and stock targets across our Business Computing portfolio, delivering sustainable growth and commercial success.
  • Building strategic supplier partnerships with leading technology brands, distributors and industry partners, acting as the key commercial contact for the Computing category.
  • Leading commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing, promotional investment, trading terms and exclusive opportunities that strengthen our market position.
  • Developing joint business Plans with key partners, aligning strategic priorities and driving performance against shared growth objectives and commercial KPIs.
  • Leveraging market insights to identify emerging trends, competitor activity and new opportunities, translating them into category strategies, sales initiatives and customer-focused propositions.
  • Collaborating across the business with Category, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital and Sales teams to deliver commercial initiatives, product launches, campaigns and business growth opportunities.

You will need:

  • Proven experience in a commercial, trading, partnerships or category management role ideally in retail, distribution, or B2B technology.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales, margin and growth targets through effective category planning and trading activity.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with experience developing strategic partnerships and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
  • To be a confident negotiator, experienced in securing favourable commercial terms, supplier investment and mutually beneficial business outcomes.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional projects and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience leading complex projects and delivering results through cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders and driving outcomes without direct line management responsibility.
  • A genuine passion for technology, with a keen interest in emerging trends across computing, AI and digital services, and the ability to translate market developments into commercial opportunities.

We know our people are the secret to our success. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to reward great work. You’ll find a host of benefits designed to work for you, including:

  • Performance related bonus.
  • Competitive pension scheme.
  • Product discounts on the latest tech.
  • A range of wellbeing initiatives.
  • Hybrid working; our primary Currys Campus is at Waterloo (WeWork) with an expectation to meet in person 2-4 times per month.
