Want to shape the future of commercial motor insurance across the Baltics?
Step into a role where your decisions will shape a strategically important Baltic portfolio covering Motor Own Damage (MOD) and Motor Third Party Liability (MTPL) insurance. You will turn insight into action by developing competitive products that are easy to sell, strengthening pricing, underwriting and sales processes, and driving sustainable growth and profitability. Along the way, you will lead and develop a team of five Motor Risk Managers across the Baltics.
Your main responsibilities
- Take ownership of the commercial motor product offering across the Baltics, balancing customer needs, sales opportunities and sustainable profitability.
- Turn portfolio performance, profitability trends, market insight, and feedback from customers and sales teams into opportunities and commercially sound decisions.
- Bring out the best in five Motor Risk Managers by setting a clear direction, supporting performance and professional growth, and creating an engaged, collaborative team.
- Make pricing, underwriting and sales processes simpler and more effective through standardisation, automation and greater transparency.
- Partner with commercial sales teams, risk managers and product development colleagues to remove sales barriers, strengthen motor fleet sales funnels, ensure delivery of agreed short-term priorities and contribute to long-term product development.
- Be a trusted expert for the area and inspire an agile culture where ideas turn into meaningful improvements.
We expect from you
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant experience in product management, commercial development, portfolio management or a similar role, where you have taken responsibility for business results and profitability. Experience in insurance or financial services is a strong advantage.
- People-management experience, whether gained in a small or larger team, and the ability to set direction, support performance and development, and build an engaged team.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with the ability to work with complex data and see the bigger picture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, together with a proactive, improvement-oriented mindset.
- English proficiency at C1 level and fluency in Estonian or Lithuanian.
- A strong understanding of Baltic markets and the ability to collaborate effectively across countries and business units.
What we offer
For stability:
- Monthly salary: € 4600– € 5300 gross depending on experience and qualifications (*Please note that the specific amount varies due to different employment taxation in Baltic countries)
