A commercial tile and marble contractor based in Las Vegas, serving casino, hospitality, and large commercial projects, is hiring an estimator who owns the number from plan set to award: takeoffs, pricing, proposal, and the conversation with the client that wins the job.

What you'll do

• Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and finish drawings using Bluebeam (or similar), for tile, natural stone, marble, and related masonry scopes.
• Build complete estimates: materials, labor, waste factors, setting materials, substrate prep, transitions, and subcontracted scope.
• Read specifications and finish schedules, flag conflicts, and issue RFIs.
• Prepare clear, itemized proposals and scope letters for general contractors and owners.
• Present and explain estimates to clients by phone, video, and email; answer scope and pricing questions; negotiate and close the award.
• Track bid pipeline and follow-ups; log outcomes and adjust unit pricing from actuals.
• Coordinate with project management on handoff from estimate to execution.

What you bring

• 5+ years of construction estimating, including 3+ years on commercial tile, stone, or masonry.
• Hands-on with Bluebeam Revu; PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or Excel-based estimating a plus.
• Ability to read commercial plan sets and specifications (Division 09 finishes, Division 04 masonry).
• Fluent, confident English on the phone with GCs, architects, and owners.
• Familiarity with US commercial construction: GC bid processes, submittals, change orders. Casino or hospitality experience is a strong plus.
• Organized, deadline-driven, comfortable owning multiple bids at once.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, US Pacific hours.

Compensation & Benefits

• $40,000 MXN netos al mes
