Construction Estimator / Remote

We are seeking a Construction Estimator & Takeoff Specialist with experience in wood framing and the construction industry to work remotely. You will be responsible for preparing precise material counts and estimates for wood structures in residential and commercial projects using architectural and structural plans, PlanSwift, and related tools.

Objective

• Prepare accurate material takeoffs and estimates for wood framing structures based on residential and commercial construction plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculation & Estimation: Perform detailed wood framing takeoffs and generate accurate material quantity counts.
• Plan Review: Analyze architectural, structural, and specification documents for assigned projects.
• Tool Usage: Utilize PlanSwift and Bluebeam to execute takeoffs and estimation activities.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain organized estimate records and collaborate with internal stakeholders and project owners.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in structural takeoffs (wood framing preferred) and material estimation for residential or commercial projects.
• Software: Proficiency in PlanSwift (required) and Bluebeam (preferred).
• Language & Blueprints: B2+ English fluency and strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
• Preferred Qualifications: Background in Civil or Structural Engineering and prior experience supporting construction estimating teams.

Schedule and Benefits

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM PT.
• Modality: 100% Remote (Work from Home).
