The intern will contribute to the following areas:
Digital communications & innovation
· Support website content management, updates and redesign initiatives
· Assist with creating and updating digital and print materials, including using Adobe InDesign and Canva
· Explore AI and other digital tools to improve content creation, communications and team workflows
· Help document new processes and share best practices
Analytics & performance measurement
· Help develop methodologies for measuring research, communication and events performance, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
· Support data collection, analysis and reporting across digital channels and events
· Contribute to developing dashboards, reporting templates and processes to improve the consistency and accuracy of performance measurement
Event planning and coordination
· Support the planning and delivery of in-person, virtual and hybrid events, including international conferences
· Help prepare event materials, including agendas, visuals, presentations and participant communications
· Assist with event logistics and coordination, including onsite support and travel to international events
Throughout the internship, you will have opportunities to take ownership of specific tasks and projects, collaborate with colleagues across the team and contribute ideas for improving how we work.
The position is based at the Geneva Association's office in Zurich, with a combination of in-office and remote work.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in communications, marketing, business or a related field

- An analytical mindset, with an interest in working with data, developing metrics and translating findings into useful insights
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest in digital communications, emerging technologies and AI
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, website content management systems or analytics platforms is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, service-oriented approach
- Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn and experiment with new approaches
- Interest in insurance, economics and/or global risks is an advantage
- Previous internship or work experience, ideally in an international environment, is an advantage
