Communications

About the role

The Communications team will be responsible for helping manage and execute Shaip’s communications strategy for our marketing teams. This person will be an integral part of helping Shaip communicate strategic information to internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the communications team, you will work with our executive team to draft the communication, prepare the executives, and help ensure the execution of our communication. You will also support internal communications for Shaip, including division-wide comms and executive & leadership-specific comms.

What you'll do

• Contribute to marketing and communications initiatives that support the strategic and operational goals of our company

• Lead review and approvals process for marketing collateral, in coordination with marketing, commercial and legal team members

• Reinforce the company’s culture, vision, and values of collaboration, inclusiveness, diversity, integrity, quality, and safety at all levels

• Work with stakeholders to develop and manage a cohesive communications strategy

• Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials

• Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction

• Manage media relations

• Partner with PR Agency on strategy and execution

• Manage communications budget

• Prepare detailed media activity reports

• Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all PR materials

• Work with different marketing departments to generate new ideas and strategies

• Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready

• Create communication and PR strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions

• Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner

• Review requests for executive interviews and outreach from industry publications
