Requisition ID 2026-4468 Job Summary Artemis is seeking a Communications and Marketing Specialist to develop communications and product-marketing content that drives awareness and adoption of government program capabilities among current and potential users. This role delivers consistent, on-brand messaging across channels and supports the client’s change management and product marketing strategy. The Communications and Marketing Specialist is a self-starter, proactive problem-solver, and action-oriented team player with strong strategic communications and product marketing experience. This position requires an individual committed to superior client service, poised under pressure, with a positive and flexible attitude. This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award). Remote work is anticipated. However, occasional travel for client engagements may be required. Primary Responsibilities Create communications products that engage stakeholder audiences, such as case studies, infographics, promotional materials, and briefing decks. Revise and provide content that delivers consistent key messages across appropriate channels, aligned to branding, messaging, and digital/social media strategies (news and impact stories, brochures, fact sheets, talking points, presentations, and web copy). Market capabilities to existing and potential users and help create, manage, and implement the product marketing strategy. Support the annual Product Marketing Strategy deliverable. Support change management by helping create and maintain a change management process, evaluating communication methods for process-improvement opportunities, and identifying and mitigating risks associated with proposed changes. Provide communications and marketing inputs to the Analysis of Alternatives report upon Government request. Participate in meetings to discuss and prioritize new communications activities and plans. Contribute to the Communications Plan and Communications Dashboard metrics. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of strategic communications and product marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. Federal client experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR). Demonstrated change management experience. Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government. Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/public trust determination. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Desired Qualifications Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills. Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others. Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally. Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively. Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues. Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
