The Opportunity Calling all storytellers and brand builders. We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Communications Manager who can own how Cosign shows up everywhere - externally and internally, from the CEO's LinkedIn to the sales deck in a rep's hand. You will build the communications function from the ground up and define how Cosign sounds at every touchpoint. Communications Manager As our first Communications Manager, you will own the entire stack: owned-channel strategy across LinkedIn, blog, website, PR, and executive communications, plus the messaging frameworks, sales collateral, and enablement materials that arm Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to sell with confidence. You will build the content engine behind our CEO's thought leadership and our Partnerships team's outreach, while partnering closely with Leadership to keep every customer-facing message clear, consistent, and on-position. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and managing a Copywriter, this is a strategic builder role. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, has built a communications function from 0 to 1 before, and is excited to own the full narrative - inside and outside the company - in a fast-moving, early-stage context. Key Responsibilities External communications engine across LinkedIn, the website, blog, PR, executive communications, and every customer-facing channel, ensuring a consistent, compelling brand voice at every touchpoint The communications strategy end-to-end: editorial direction, messaging frameworks, brand voice, content planning, and cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success Executive thought leadership that positions Cosign as an industry leader: managing Zach Schofel's LinkedIn presence, executive content, presentations, speeches, interviews, and other public-facing communications The content and SEO strategy that drives awareness and authority: owning website messaging, blog content, organic growth, and continuously improving search performance in partnership with the UX & Brand Lead PR, strategic communications, and high-impact initiatives: partnering with the Head of Marketing on media opportunities, AI-driven marketing initiatives, product launches, and company-wide communications projects Sales enablement and internal messaging from strategy to execution: creating and maintaining presentations, one-pagers, case studies, battlecards, sales templates, launch communications, FAQs, webinars, and messaging documentation—ensuring every team tells a consistent story to prospects, customers, partners, and investors. About You As a highly motivated and data-driven communications expert, you take full ownership of the communications function, from messaging strategy to final content execution, without needing direction. You are deeply committed to your targets, remain structured under pressure, and distinguish true impact from mere output. You thrive in early-stage landscapes where processes are still evolving. You are a storyteller at heart, comfortable adapting your voice across executives, customers,partners, media, and internal teams, and using SEO insights and AI to drive the highest-performing content. Preferred Experience -We are looking for a passionate communications leader who is excited to shape voice and build a world-class communications function from the ground up. - 5–7+ years of experience in Communications, Content Marketing, Corporate Communications, Editorial, Brand Marketing, or a related field, ideally within a startup environment - Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience creating content for executives, customers, sales teams, partners, and media while maintaining a consistent brand voice - Proven experience building executive thought leadership, particularly on LinkedIn, and growing organic brand presence through strategic content - Hands-on ownership of website content, company blogs, editorial calendars, and - SEO-driven content strategies using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google - Search Console - Strong AI fluency, leveraging tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms to accelerate research, content creation, and editing workflows - Experience creating sales enablement materials—including presentations, one-pagers, case studies, battlecards, and messaging frameworks—that support revenue teams throughout the customer journey Excellent project management skills, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing editorial workflows using tools like Notion, Asana, or similar platforms -Strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence Product, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and executive stakeholders without formal authority -A passion for building systems from scratch, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment What Makes This Opportunity Different This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing companies in U.S. PropTech at a pivotal moment in our growth.
