Overview:
The Community Specialist administratively supports the onsite Residential operations by producing a high volume of administrative deliverables. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well independently and digitally, with shifting priorities, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
This position is a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in office - the office is located in Phoenix (85018) and 2 days per week work from home.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process and screen applications, enter ledger charges, collect holding funds, and prepare move in documents, in preparation for handoff to the onsite team.
- Prepare lease renewal offers, in preparation for handing off to the onsite team. Process move outs and complete financial move out statements, in partnership with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
- Provide concierge level customer service to clients, customers, vendors, and co-workers; follow up and follow through in a timely manner. Demonstrate positive conflict resolution and always being respectful and professional.
- Prepare revenue protection notices, in preparation for handing off to the onsite team, for distribution to current residents. Manage the past resident revenue protection efforts.
- Generate reports, research, perform audits, conduct analysis, and take on tasks, as directed.
- Comply with federal, state, and local Landlord/Tenant laws; Fair housing regulations; company policy and procedure.
- Comply with all company policies, while demonstrating IDM's Core Values.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1+ years of relevant property management experience, performing these administrative duties. Alternatively, transferrable high volume, attention to detail administrative work may be accepted.
- Good interpersonal skills, while having the ability to work autonomously.
- Team player, willing to go the extra mile to provide concierge level customer service.
- Effective communicator; both written and verbal.
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail; a solution finder.
- Is technologically savvy.
- Must be able to work weekends.
