The successful candidate will act as deputy to the Company Secretarial Solicitor, support and mentor junior team members, and play a key role in the continued development of the Company's governance function.

You will work closely with directors, senior management and external advisers across multiple jurisdictions, supporting entities throughout Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

Location

The role would be based at the HH Global office in Mumbai, with hybrid working available.

Full Time Permanent Role

This is full time permanent role with a probation period of six (6) months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage company secretarial and corporate governance activities across a global portfolio of entities, including board and shareholder matters, statutory compliance, filings and corporate records.
  • Coordinate corporate actions, including director changes, registered office changes, powers of attorney and other governance matters, ensuring documentation is prepared, executed and filed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with external company secretarial providers and advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and enhance entity management systems, governance records and compliance processes.
  • Support corporate transactions, restructurings and other strategic projects.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Act as deputy to the Company Secretarial Solicitor and provide guidance and support to junior members of the Company Secretarial Team.

Skills and Experience

  • We are looking for candidates with:
  • A law degree, Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualification, or an equivalent legal, governance or company secretarial qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in company secretarial, corporate governance or international corporate administration.
  • Strong knowledge of company law, corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting multinational groups and managing a portfolio of entities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience working with boards, directors, senior stakeholders and external advisers.
  • Strong drafting, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues.
  • Experience using entity management software such as GEMS or similar platforms.

About You

You are a proactive, organised and commercially minded governance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment. You take ownership of your work, build strong stakeholder relationships and are comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy while supporting the wider success of the Legal Team.

You will be a trusted member of the Legal Team, capable of managing company secretarial matters independently while contributing to the continued development and success of the function.
