Marsh’s Workforce & Rewards practice is seeking a Compensation Consulting Associate to join our Calgary team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced consultants to help clients solve complex rewards challenges through data-driven analysis, thoughtful insights, and practical recommendations.

This role is well suited for someone with some experience in broad-based or non-executive compensation and some energy industry expertise.

This is a hybrid role that requires at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and data analysis to inform client recommendations
• Analyze compensation structures, reward programs, and survey data
• Assist in developing client presentations, reports, and deliverables
• Support work related to base pay, incentives, job architecture and compensation philosophy
• Help translate data and analysis into practical, client-ready insights
• Collaborate with team members to manage project workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs
• Contribute to internal tools, templates, and process improvements
• Build strong client relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and quality work

What you need to have:

• 3–5 years of experience in consulting, human resources, compensation, finance, analytics, or a related field – Oil and gas experience preferred
• Familiarity with Marsh’s suite of compensation surveys preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative, proactive, and client-oriented mindset

What makes you stand out:

• BComm, HBA/MBA, MIR, or a related degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, human resources, and/or accounting, or equivalent work experience
