About Us

At SRT Marine Systems, we're helping shape the future of maritime safety, navigation and vessel intelligence.

Our em-trak® products are trusted by boat owners, commercial operators and maritime organisations around the world to make navigation safer, smarter and more connected.

As we continue to grow, this role ensures the technology relied on by mariners continues to meet the highest standards

About the Role

Behind every trusted product is someone responsible for making sure it meets the standards that matter.

This is an opportunity to become the compliance specialist for a business whose technology is relied upon by mariners around the world.

As our Compliance Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the standards, certifications and regulatory requirements needed for deployment in global markets.

Working across engineering, manufacturing and external organisations, you'll help protect the quality, reliability and reputation of products that people depend upon every day.

Day to day you will typically be doing the following:

• Supporting certification, approval and regulatory compliance activities.
• Maintaining technical documentation, compliance records and certification evidence.
• Coordinating product testing, verification and validation activities.
• Liaising with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, notified bodies, auditors and external test houses.
• Supporting internal and external audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Working with engineering teams to understand product changes and their compliance implications.
• Supporting visits to manufacturing facilities, suppliers and external test sites.
• Monitoring certification status and helping ensure approvals remain current.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of compliance processes and procedures.

About You

You enjoy working in environments where quality, accuracy and attention to detail matter. Whether your experience comes from testing, inspection, quality, manufacturing, certification or product assurance, you'll be someone who takes pride in getting things right and following issues through to completion.

You'll likely have experience of product testing, verification, validation, inspection, technical documentation, audits, compliance activities or working to defined engineering standards and procedures. Experience with electronics, hardware or electromechanical products would be particularly valuable.

Just as important as your technical background are the personal qualities you'll bring to the role. You'll be naturally organised and methodical, with a keen eye for detail and the confidence to challenge when something doesn't look right. You'll be an effective communicator who can build relationships across engineering, manufacturing and external organisations, and you'll have the persistence to gather evidence, resolve issues and drive activities through to a successful conclusion.

Above all, you'll be eager to learn, develop specialist expertise and take ownership of a role that has a direct impact on the success of the business.

Apply

This is more than a compliance role.

If you enjoy solving problems, improving quality and ensuring things are done properly, this could be the role that defines the next stage of your career.

Join us and become the person who helps ensure technology trusted by mariners around the world performs when it matters most.
