Compliance Officer (Junior)

As part of our team expansion, we are looking for a “Compliance Officer (Junior) ” with 3–5 years of professional experience in compliance or legal advisory, to be assigned to our Legal Department located at our İstanbul HQ.

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

• Support the implementation and day-to-day operation of the company’s compliance program in line with applicable regulatory standards.

• Monitor developments in international sanctions regimes and trade embargoes, and assist in ensuring organizational compliance.

• Support export control compliance processes, including classification, licensing support, and screening activities under applicable regulations.

• Provide support to internal stakeholders regarding regulatory requirements and compliance-related risk mitigation.

• Assist in monitoring compliance with data protection laws, including GDPR, KVKK (Türkiye), and other applicable frameworks.

• Contribute to the preparation and delivery of internal compliance trainings.

• Assist in maintaining and updating compliance policies, procedures, and internal reporting mechanisms.

• Support compliance monitoring, internal reviews, and documentation processes.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• 3–5 years of professional experience in compliance, regulatory advisory, or legal practice.

Working knowledge of:

• International sanctions and trade embargoes

• Anti-bribery and anti-corruption regulations

• Know Your Customer (KYC) programs

• U.S. regulatory frameworks (such as OFAC and FCPA)

• Corporate compliance frameworks and internal policies

• Personal data protection laws

• (Preferred) basic familiarity with antitrust / competition law.

• Experience supporting compliance programs, including policy implementation, training support, monitoring activities, and reporting processes.

• Preferably experience in the legal or compliance departments of multinational corporations or in law firms providing regulatory or compliance advisory.

• Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong legal drafting and analytical skills.

• Solution-oriented, well organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
