Role Description The Computer Specialist at Hardware Inventors is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tirur, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The role includes configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computers, development boards, and lab hardware used in training programs. Responsibilities involve supporting instructors during boot camps, preparing systems and software for classes, and ensuring smooth operation of hardware design tools and environments. The Computer Specialist will also assist with basic programming tasks, maintain inventories of equipment, and provide technical guidance to learners on using lab resources safely and effectively. Collaboration with trainers and management to improve technical infrastructure and learning experiences is an important part of the day-to-day work.

Qualifications

• Programming skills, including familiarity with languages and tools relevant to hardware design environments.
• Machining or hands-on hardware skills for working with components, development boards, and lab equipment.
• Teaching or training abilities to support learners, explain technical concepts clearly, and assist instructors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Tirur, manage time independently, and coordinate with on-site and remote team members.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, inclusive, and professional interaction.
• Prior experience in hardware design labs, technical training environments, or IT support is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Hardware Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
