Job Description

⚡We are your Energy Technology Partner. We electrify, automate, and digitalize every industry, business, and home, driving efficiency and sustainability for all.

At Schneider Electric, our values – IMPACT (Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, Teamwork) – are the foundation of everything we do.

Becoming an Impact Maker means turning sustainability ambitions into actions at the intersection of automation, electrification, and digitization.

Are you ready to lead the digital transformation to create a more sustainable world? 🌳

If you are up to challenge your creativity and make an impact, we are excited to welcome you!

In this position, you are responsible for coordinating and driving Conformity Assessment (CA) activities across the Home Solutions Europe Division, ensuring the effective management of the European portfolio of offers and alignment with business, product and regulatory requirements.

Your mission is to define, coordinate and execute, in close collaboration with Product Owners and relevant stakeholders, the conformity assessment and certification strategy for the division. This includes internal due diligence, product compliance verification and third-party certification activities, ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements, international standards and market-specific regulations.

You provide functional leadership to the CA expert team, coordinating activities across different locations and ensuring alignment on priorities, resources, deliverables and ways of working. As a single point of contact, reporting directly to the Lab & Compliance Assessment Manager, you act as a key link between the European experts, product portfolio stakeholders and global CA organization.

You are responsible for animating the operational organization of the Conformity Assessment engineering team, including portfolio and workload management, budget planning and ownership, resource allocation, project execution and performance monitoring. You also drive expertise exchange, harmonization of practices and continuous improvement, implementing the right governance at division level to monitor the execution of the strategy.

Leveraging digitalization and effective governance, you ensure visibility on the overall offer compliance assessment status, anticipate regulatory and certification challenges, and support efficient decision-making. You act as a key reference point for CA-related topics within the division, contributing to the deployment of the global CA strategy and ensuring that conformity assessment activities effectively support product development, market access and business objectives.

  • Own budget planning and monitoring, capacity assessment and resource allocation, identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Coordinate projects and operational activities, monitoring progress, risks, milestones and performance through appropriate KPIs and digital tools.
  • Provide guidance to divisions and Product Owners on conformity assessment strategies for different regions, international markets and product segments.
  • Ensure appropriate execution of internal due diligence, product compliance assessments and third-party certification activities, in accordance with applicable statutory requirements and standards.
  • Anticipate regulatory and standardization developments, assessing their impact on the product portfolio and supporting market access.
  • Contribute to the global CA strategy and establish effective governance, reporting and coordination mechanisms at European and divisional levels.
  • Coordinate with Certification Bodies, Standardization team and other internal and external stakeholders, to ensure effective certification processes and regulatory alignment.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, R&D, Quality, Operations and GSC, ensuring conformity assessment requirements are integrated throughout the entire product lifecycle.
