SUMMARY Maintains responsibility for the project management of new features and the ongoing enhancement of a portfolio of customer-facing products, platforms, and services. Manages the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring solutions deliver exceptional customer experiences (CX) while supporting business objectives. With a focus on connected CX across MySubaru, infotainment systems, and other digital touchpoints, partners cross-functionally with business, engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver seamless, intuitive, and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate combines expertise in product management, CX, technology, and data integration with a strong understanding of evolving automotive and digital trends. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Vision & Strategy: Bridges product strategy and execution, ensuring that ideas are transformed into market-ready products on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Project Management: Develops detailed feature project plans, ensuring alignment with overall product strategies and timely delivery. Leads and oversees the execution of these plans, ensuring all stakeholders are on track. Lifecycle Management: With a strong focus on connected customer experience (CX), oversees the end-to-end product development process ensuring the successful creation of new solutions and the evolution of existing offerings that drive customer engagement, satisfaction, and business value. Ideation & Design: Drives the user experience (UX) design, testing, and market release of new features for in-vehicle and connected vehicle (CV) systems, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, compliance, and usability. CX Evaluation & Quality Insurance: Supervises the testing of new connected features across the product portfolio, including Alliance connected technologies and the next generation in-vehicle infotainment UX. Ensures features meet high standards of quality and align with product goals. Signs off on functionality, UX design, app User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Joint Integration Testing (JIT) to ensure features meet user requirements and expectations. • Management of Evaluation Operation Specialist: Supervises and manages the Evaluation Operation Specialist, ensuring seamless coordination of testing and evaluation activities, monitoring key performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to optimize the evaluation process. Team Management: Leads the execution of the product roadmap for connected CX, aligning product features with user needs and business objectives. Oversees the work of Product Business Analysts (PBAs) in the development and release of new features, ensuring they are delivered according to plan. Supports team in developing, testing, and refining new features, ensuring alignment with product goals. Issue & Roadblock Resolution: Handles issue and roadblock escalations from BAs and other stakeholders, ensuring swift resolution to keep projects on track. Data Integration & Internet of Things (IoT): Leverages IoT and data analytics to drive feature enhancements and optimize the functionality of CV and infotainment systems. Ensures seamless integration between systems and that all features deliver a cohesive and intuitive user experience. Competitive Analysis: Stays current with telematics industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape. Identifies opportunities for innovation and differentiation within the infotainment and CV space. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides Works on-site in the Connected Vehicle Garage to perform in-vehicle or bench testing as needed for head unit or telematics. Works with North American Subaru, Inc. (NASI) and Subaru Corporation (SBR) on various evaluations and new feature testing; this may include travel to NASI-Michigan and SBR. REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS Strong understanding of infotainment technologies, user interfaces, and data integration in the automotive industry. Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex technical features into clear product requirements and user stories. Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business owners, engineers, vendors and business analysts (BAs). Experience with product testing and evaluation processes, with a focus on quality, user experience, and continuous improvement. Ability to conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-centric focus. Experience applying Waterfall, Agile SCRUM, and Kanban methodologies, demonstrating the ability to tailor delivery approaches to the needs of complex, cross-functional programs and balance iterative development with structured, milestone-driven execution. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field required and Master's Degree preferred. At least 6-8 years required and at least 4-6 years Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, particularly in the automotive, connected vehicle (CV), or infotainment domains required. WORK EXPERIENCE Office Location: Camden, NJ apart of the Greater Philadelphia Area (Philly) Hybrid Role: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (after 90 days) [Wednesdays & Fridays] Travel: 20% Domestic and International COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $135,400 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
