Agilus is recruiting for a full-time permanent Junior Construction Estimator in the Greater Toronto Area. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career estimator who wants to gain experience on exciting new-build commercial projects. Working closely with senior estimating and project teams, you'll support bid preparation, quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and project pricing while helping deliver successful construction projects from pre-construction through award.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Assist with project estimates, budgets, and bid submissions
• Review construction drawings and contract documents
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Support preparation of tender and quotation packages
• Maintain estimating databases and project documentation
• Coordinate with project managers and construction teams
• Assist with cost analysis and estimate reconciliation

Requirements:

• Possess 1-3 years of estimating or construction-related experience
• Demonstrate experience performing quantity take-offs
• Support estimating activities on commercial, retail, or new-build projects
• Understand construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively
• Bring strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Procore considered a strong asset
• Background in electrical contracting considered a significant advantage
