Construction Estimator - Framing

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented to join our pre-construction team. In this role, you will analyze architectural and structural blueprints to generate precise material takeoffs and competitive cost estimates for both light-gauge/structural steel framing and wood framing packages. Your calculations and strategic bids will directly drive our project profitability and operational success. Technical Knowledge & Skills Required: Advanced English Knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient Strong and verifiable engineering/architectural background and experience 2+ years of construction estimating experience, with specific hands-on knowledge of wood and steel framing systems. Knowledge in Software tools: such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Countfire, etc. Ability to perform drafting, layout work, and straightforward calculations, take-offs, budgets relative to all construction details Prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches Perform component-based material take-offs from prepared shop drawings Soft Skills Required: Professionalism: Professional attitude and ethical behavior Communication: Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate and convey information between expert teams Organization skills and attention to detail Prioritization skills: Ability to identify, establish, and assign prioritie Ability to comply when necessary; following orders or specific instructions if needed Desirable Knowledge & Skills: • PlanSwift knowledge or similar softwares. • Manage the day-to-day workflow and output of the department, prioritizing and assigning projects • Calculate project time & budget estimates based on materials and resources required; maintain a system for recurring or standard projects • Ensure finished projects align with customer and project requirements • Perform any other job-related duties as required Main Tools to Manage: • Google Suite: Google Drive, Corporate Gmail, Docs, Sheets • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel • Hubstaff: Web App, Desktop App and Hubstaff Tasks • Whatsapp: Whatsapp Groups • Zoom: Meetings and Breakout rooms • Design tools: AutoCAD, PDF Editor Benefits: • Competitive pay in US Dollars • Paid extra hours • Time-off flexibility • 100% remote work • Opportunity to grow • International experience
