Construction Management - Field Support (SoCal)

The Construction Management role provides support to ensure successful execution of construction projects. This role coordinates with contractors or subcontractors and the construction execution team to assists in defining project scope, support quality control and assurance, managing schedules and monitoring project progress. This role performs work under supervision within defined guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting quality control and assurance checks.
• Oversee the performance of trade contractors and ensure work meets project objectives.
• Support in defining project scopes and objectives.
• Track project progress and report updates
• Assist in creating and managing project schedules and timelines.
• Handle basic requests for information (RFIs) and provide responses.
• Support change management processes for project adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Coordination of health and safety requirements to ensure the project meets company safety requirements.
• Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.

Skills and Competencies

• Basic understanding of construction management and project management techniques.
• Sound knowledge in quality control and assurance.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and handle scope definition tasks
• Basic proficiency in handling requests for information (RFIs) and change management.
• Knowledge of plan and specifications compliance processes.

Experience

• Typically, a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in construction management or related field.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience is required.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location B: $78,000 - $106,000
