We are seeking someone with excellent administrative and organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and the confidence to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, staff and management.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining office administration, construction project coordination, remote working and visits to construction sites and clients.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, shows initiative, enjoys responsibility and makes sure things get done.

Key Responsibilities

- Grant Applications: Preparing, coordinating, submitting and following up on grant applications on behalf of clients.
- Document Control & Checking: Reviewing and cross-checking project documentation, schedules, quantity surveying (QS) documents, specifications and other relevant information.
- Project Coordination: Organising and scheduling works, coordinating subcontractors and assisting with the day-to-day running of construction projects.
- Communication: Acting as a key link between management, site personnel, subcontractors and clients.
- Client Liaison: Maintaining professional relationships with clients, dealing with queries and providing project updates.
- Administration: Managing project records, correspondence, documentation and general administrative duties.
- Planning & Follow-Up: Monitoring outstanding tasks, deadlines and project requirements to ensure work progresses smoothly.
- Site & Client Visits: Attending construction sites, client meetings and other locations as required.

The Ideal Candidate

- Excellent spoken and written English, with strong professional communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when checking documents, figures and schedules.
- Confident, approachable and professional when dealing with clients.
- Able to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, proactive attitude.
- Comfortable working across office, home and site-based environments.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- A full, valid driving licence permitting the holder to drive in Ireland, as independent travel to construction sites and client meetings is an essential part of the role.
- Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, quantity surveying support or a similar position would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Location & Employment Requirements

This is a full-time position based in County Clare, involving a combination of office-based work, working from home and travel to construction sites and client meetings.

Applicants must be able to reliably attend the workplace and travel to the locations required for the role.

Applicants must have an existing legal right to work in Ireland. Employment permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

What We Offer

- A varied and interesting full-time position.
- Flexible working arrangements combining office, home and site-based activities, according to business requirements.
- Direct involvement in a wide range of construction projects.
- The opportunity to work closely with company management.
- A professional and supportive working environment.
- Competitive remuneration, depending on experience and suitability.
