Construction Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the construction and installation of conveyor systems for food and beverage manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial planning and estimating through installation, startup, commissioning, and closeout. You'll work closely with clients, engineering teams, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This company is a 40-year-old industry leader specializing in the design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, maintenance, modernization, and decommissioning of material handling and conveyor systems. They deliver complex design-build projects across a variety of industries, including food & beverage, airports, parcel, and warehousing/distribution.

This position will support projects for some of the most recognizable manufacturers in the industry, including Pepsi, Coke, Stolle, Roeslein, and other packaging and can manufacturing facilities. The initial focus will be on packaging line installation projects, with opportunities to expand into larger capital projects as experience grows.

Work Environment:

• Based out of Aurora, CO
• Primarily office-based with a hybrid schedule, including 1 remote day per week
• Travel approximately 25-35% for project meetings, client relationship management, business development, and project support
• Travel is typically a few days at a time, averaging 1 trip per month, though some months may require additional travel
• Typical work schedule is 40-45 hours per week, with occasional additional hours depending on project demands

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of conveyor system construction projects, from estimation and justification through installation, startup, and closeout
• Lead projects through conceptual planning, construction, and project completion
• Plan and manage project execution, resource allocation, and project schedules
• Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Support the successful delivery of conveyor and material handling system projects for food and beverage clients
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 4-7 years of construction management experience
• Willingness to travel up to 25-35%

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
