Construction Project Manager – Restaurant & Retail

Reston, VA | Hybrid | $115,000–$130,000 + Company Vehicle

We are hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple restaurant and retail construction projects from planning through completion.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for someone with a strong background in ground-up restaurant/retail construction, tenant build-outs, and open-door remodels.

Restaurant and retail construction experience is REQUIRED. Candidates without this specific background will not be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage multiple restaurant and retail construction projects simultaneously

Oversee schedules, budgets, resources, and project timelines

Coordinate contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams

Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, and code compliance

Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and site plans

Track project costs and implement cost-control measures

Identify scheduling risks and resolve issues before they impact deadlines

Lead project meetings and keep all stakeholders aligned

Manage projects from pre-construction through final completion

What We're Looking For

5+ years of Project Management experience specifically in restaurant and retail construction

Proven experience with ground-up construction AND tenant build-outs

Experience with open-door remodels strongly preferred

Strong construction scheduling and budgeting experience

Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and architectural plans

Strong contractor, vendor, and client management skills

Proficiency with Procore, Primavera, Raken, or similar construction management software

Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

PMP certification is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

$115,000–$130,000 base salary
