We are seeking an experienced ALM, FTP & Liquidity Risk Software Implementation Consultant to join our banking risk management software implementation team in EGYPT (REMOTE)
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience implementing ALM, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Liquidity Risk software solutions for banks.
This is a software implementation and consulting role, rather than a pure banking risk analyst position. The candidate should have experience working for a software vendor, technology company, consulting firm or system integrator delivering risk management solutions to banking clients.
Experience with Oracle OFSAA / Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) or comparable ALM, FTP and Liquidity Risk platforms is a pre-requisite to being considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure and support leading international software solutions for:
- Asset Liability Management (ALM)
- Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
- Liquidity Risk Management
- Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB)
- Related Enterprise Risk Management solutions
- Work directly with banks to understand their:
- ALM and liquidity risk methodologies
- FTP methodologies and transfer-pricing frameworks
- Risk policies and regulatory requirements
- Products, portfolios and business processes
- Data structures and reporting requirements
- Conduct client workshops to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
- Translate banking and risk-management requirements into software configurations, business rules, calculations, workflows and reports.
- Configure and customize ALM, FTP and Liquidity Risk solutions according to approved specifications.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation, including:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Specifications
- Configuration documents
- Test scenarios and test cases
- User documentation
- Participate in the complete implementation lifecycle, including:
- Requirements gathering
- Solution design
- Configuration
- Data mapping
- Integration
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Production deployment
- Post-implementation support
- Work with client IT, Treasury, Risk, Finance and business teams to resolve implementation and data-related issues.
- Support data analysis, mapping and validation between banking source systems and the risk management platform.
- Assist clients in validating ALM, FTP and liquidity risk calculations and results.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, training sessions and knowledge-transfer workshops.
- Prepare project status reports and communicate implementation progress, risks and issues to clients and project management.
- Support change-management activities and assist clients in adopting new risk-management processes and systems.
- Travel to customer locations as required.
Mandatory Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate must meet all or most of the following criteria:
1. Banking Software Implementation Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience implementing software solutions for banks.
- Experience should be in a software vendor, technology company, consulting firm or system integrator environment.
- Candidates whose experience is limited to being an ALM user, Treasury user, risk analyst or bank employee without software implementation experience are not the target profile.
2. ALM / FTP / Liquidity Risk Expertise
Hands-on implementation experience in one or more of the following is required:
- Asset Liability Management (ALM)
- Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
- Liquidity Risk Management
- Interest Rate Risk / IRRBB
- Liquidity gap analysis
- Cash-flow modelling
- Interest-rate risk measurement
- Behavioral modelling
- Liquidity stress testing
- Regulatory liquidity reporting
Candidates with experience across ALM + FTP + Liquidity Risk will be strongly preferred.
3. ALM Software Platform Experience
Experience with Oracle OFSAA is highly desirable or comparable banking risk platforms will also be considered.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate actual implementation/configuration experience on a software platform, rather than simply knowledge of the underlying ALM concepts.
4. Client-Facing Consulting Experience
- Experience working directly with banking clients.
- Strong requirements-gathering and business-analysis skills.
- Ability to conduct workshops with Treasury, Risk, Finance and IT departments.
- Ability to explain complex banking risk concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
5. Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of SQL is required.
- Experience with database structures, data mapping and data validation.
- Understanding of ETL/data integration concepts is desirable.
- Ability to investigate calculation and data issues using SQL and other technical tools.
