Consultant | Global Business Services Team (GBS)

We are a multilingual and multidisciplinary team, bringing together people with backgrounds ranging from humanities to finance, operations, technology and data. We have gained experience across different industries, but we share one goal: helping clients around the world design practical business solutions and build more effective Global Business Services organizations.

Our projects cover the full Global Business Services journey, including operating model design, location analysis, organizational transformation, process optimization, center setup and the improvement of existing operations.

We are looking for:

Consultant in Global Business Services Team (GBS)

Your future role:

• Support GBS-related projects, from current-state assessments and identification of improvement opportunities, with a strong focus on rapid, iterative delivery,
• Deliver defined project activities and smaller work packages, taking ownership of assigned tasks with guidance from experienced team members,
• Work in blended PwC and client teams to transform operations across Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain and Technology,
• Analyze information and prepare high-quality presentations, reports, process maps and other client-ready deliverables while working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, multiple iterations and occasional last-minute adjustments,
• Prepare for and participate in client interviews and workshops, develop supporting materials, capture conclusions and follow up on agreed actions,
• Track project actions, risks, dependencies and milestones, and draft concise meeting minutes capturing key decisions, actions, owners and deadlines,
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI, automation or analytics, and support pilots by preparing use cases, testing outputs, collecting feedback and documenting results,
• Contribute to client proposals, market research and internal knowledge materials,
• Build your consulting skills through project experience, coaching, training and exposure to new business areas,

Examples of what you might work on:

• Analyze how Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain or Technology services are currently delivered across several countries,
• Help design a service catalogue and governance structure for a new GBS organization,
• Map an end-to-end process, identify pain points and quantify improvement opportunities, then support a transition of activities into a GBS,
• Support the testing of automation, analytics or artificial intelligence solutions,
• Prepare a phased implementation roadmap draft with actions, owners, milestones and performance indicators.

Apply if you:

• Have 2+ years of professional experience within GBS/Outsourcing industry and exposure to any of the following operational areas: Finance and Accounting, Customer Service, HR, Procurement, Technology,
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables, proactively manage progress and communicate risks or blockers early,
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities, multiple iterations, tight deadlines and last-minute changes,
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear conclusions and practical recommendations,
• Have strong attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work,
• Communicate clearly and build positive working relationships and credibility with both client and internal teams,
• Are curious, open to feedback and able to learn quickly when working in new functions or unfamiliar business areas,
• Have experience or familiarity with generative AI, AI agents, Intelligence Process Automation etc.
• Understand GBS/SSC service components and operations,
• Have general knowledge of Project Management methodology and tools,
• Have experience creating deliverables in PowerPoint and analyzing data in Excel,
• Communicate fluently in English,
• Are able to travel up to 50% within Europe and, in some cases, globally.
