What we’re looking for… ScienceLogic is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to serve as a primary technical interface and subject matter expert for customers using the ScienceLogic product suite. This role combines hands-on implementation expertise with consultative guidance. The consultant partners with customer technical and management stakeholders to understand needs, translate requirements into reliable solutions, resolve complex issues, and deliver a strong customer experience across remote and onsite engagements. What you’ll be doing… Serve as a trusted technical consultant and subject matter expert, providing guidance on the ScienceLogic product suite. Lead hands-on installation, configuration, implementation, integration, and troubleshooting of ScienceLogic solutions. Partner with customer technical and management teams to understand business and technical needs, resolve issues, and provide clear technical direction. Act as the internal customer advocate by driving problem resolution and communicating product feedback and future needs. Independently manage competing customer priorities, commitments, and project timelines while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Create and maintain accurate project and technical documentation, including ticket activity and knowledge-base content. Support customer IT, security, Authority to Operate (ATO), audit, and change-management processes while following Professional Services standards and best practices. Deliver high-quality consulting services remotely and onsite as customer engagements require, with a consistent focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction. Qualities you possess… U.S. citizenship and at least six years of experience supporting Federal customers. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong enterprise infrastructure and systems administration experience across Windows and Unix/Linux environments, including at least two years of hands-on Linux experience. At least four years of experience supporting or implementing enterprise infrastructure monitoring, network management, or application performance solutions such as ScienceLogic/EM7, SolarWinds, IBM Netcool/Tivoli, Nagios, HP OpenView, or comparable platforms. At least two years of experience with SNMP, including MIB architecture, traps, and/or Syslog alert configuration. Experience with MySQL databases and scripting or automation using technologies such as PowerShell, Bash/Linux scripting, Python, or PHP. Knowledge of enterprise integration technologies, including WMI and XML/SOAP. Strong troubleshooting, customer-facing, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. As a plus, you have... Experience integrating enterprise monitoring solutions with ServiceNow, PagerDuty, or other IT service management platforms. An active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
