Consultant Job requirements Experience Range: 1 to 3 years of experience in quality engineering, including hands-on testing of mobile applications Key Responsibilities: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for mobile applications, ensuring robust coverage across functional, regression, and performance testing Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Cucumber, and BDD methodologies to enhance testing efficiency Collaborate with development and product teams to define acceptance criteria and integrate testing processes within Agile workflows Manage test data for diverse testing scenarios, ensuring data integrity and relevance during test execution Utilize Postman, SoapUI, and Android Studio to conduct API, UI, and integration testing on mobile platforms Track and report defects using Zephyr, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication of issues Promote TDD and BDD best practices to improve code quality and test coverage Evaluate and optimize testing processes, tools, and frameworks to increase system reliability and accelerate release cycles Required Skills: Test data management for mobile application testing Postman for API testing Cucumber and BDD frameworks Android Studio for mobile app testing SoapUI for web service testing Appium for automated mobile testing Zephyr for test management and defect tracking TDD and BDD methodologies Mobile device testing Preferred Skills: Performance testing tools for mobile applications CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution Security testing practices for mobile apps iOS testing frameworks and tools Optimization of test automation frameworks Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent software testing certification Certification in mobile application testing or automation tools such as Appium
