Job Description

Join Visa’s Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team as a COOP Trainee and gain hands-on exposure to consulting projects at the intersection of payments, business strategy, data and analytics.

During the COOP placement, you will work alongside consultants and analysts to support projects addressing real business challenges for Visa and its clients. The role is designed for students who enjoy structured problem solving, working with data, developing insights and translating analysis into clear business recommendations.

• Support consulting engagements through research, data analysis and structured problem solving.
• Help analyze business performance, market trends, customer behavior and other relevant data to identify meaningful insights.
• Conduct market and industry research to support client recommendations and project deliverables.
• Assist in structuring business problems and evaluating potential solutions.
• Support the development of Excel analyses, PowerPoint presentations and client-ready materials.
• Translate quantitative and qualitative findings into clear insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with VCA consultants and other Visa teams on ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Participate in project discussions, workshops and internal team meetings.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Current university student completing a COOP placement as part of their academic requirements.
• Available to start the COOP placement in January 2027.
• Expected to complete university studies in 2027.
• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers, data, and business information.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Interest in consulting, payments, financial services, technology, or data analytics.
