Job Purpose:

The Engineering Technician is responsible for executing engineering and maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of equipment. This role supports Nestle’s customers by performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance while complying with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engineering activities and urgent repair orders and advise on equipment status and operational condition.
  • Execute and implement preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and predictive maintenance activities according to approved plans and priorities.
  • Recommend improvements or replacements of equipment to enhance reliability, safety, and performance.
  • Ensure all machines are properly maintained, repaired, returned, and re-installed to operation status in compliance with safety procedures.
  • Distribute, follow up, and monitor assigned work activities, workflow, and maintenance tasks.
  • Review work methods, procedures, and maintenance practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Suggest ideas and initiatives to boost the overall effectiveness of the Service Center function.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using digitalized systems or other maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work in the engineering workshop to carry out repair, fabrication, and refurbishment activities.
  • Ensure the workshop is well-organized, clean, safe, and properly maintained, including tools, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements at all times.
  • Perform any other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
