Consumer Loan Funder

Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of loan funding requests. Verify loan documents, coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance, and facilitate the disbursement of funds. Serve as the final contact with the member to ensure an excellent member experience. Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure timely recording of HELOC liens and assist with document reconciliation to confirm Alliant is listed as the lien holder for funded HELOC applications.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage the funding pipeline and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Send the loan documents for online and wet signature
• Review and audit the loan closing documents to ensure they are correct and fully executed and update the system for each funded loan
• Coordinate with underwriters, loan consultants, and other team members to ensure timely funding
• Responsible to set up automatic payments and process loan check reissues
• Fund direct loans according to policy and within the regulatory guidelines by verifying that documents are executed properly and are complete.
• Prepare checks/advances for disbursements and assists with the wire transfer
• Ensure delivery of member correspondence loan and payment set-up, complete subordination requests for real estate loans and document transactions in the core loan system
• Maintain the rejection tracker, promptly resolving rejected loan documents, correcting deficiencies, and collaborating with vendors to identify and address rejection causes
• Remain current on industry trends and implement best practices that result in improved performance

Education & Years of Experience

• Minimum - High School or Equivalent
• Minimum - 1 year Closing, processing, customer service or related

License/Certifications/Training

• Preferred: Notary Public

Compensation & Benefits:

Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎ $41,900.00 to $59,400.00‎ Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
