Consumer Loans FLHS Operations Coordinator

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Consumer Loans FLHS Operations Coordinator to join our team! This position will support FLHS lending products and operations by coordinating product and process implementation, monitoring performance, assisting TPO partners and lenders, maintaining procedures, and facilitating governance, vendor, and remediation activities. The role collaborates across teams to promote consistent, compliant execution and timely issue resolution. This position can be remote within our operational footprint.

As part of this role you will:

• Coordinate the development, implementation, and post-launch support of approved new products, including related processes and procedures, to align with applicable policy, risk appetite, and established controls.
• Develop and deliver standardized management reporting on new product implementations, including deployment status, identified issues, and follow-up activities.
• Monitor post-launch loan production and operational performance to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for process or procedural adjustments.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing operational support for TPO partners and FLHS lenders, including the development of job aids and procedures, training, pipeline monitoring, and live operational support.
• Coordinate approved process-improvement initiatives across FLHS and partner functions, supporting implementation, documentation, communication, and adoption of process changes.
• Maintain and administer the FLHS procedure library, coordinating periodic reviews and updates to support accurate and current operational documentation.
• Coordinate FLHS model governance activities, including required model risk management documentation, reviews, updates, and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Coordinate responses to identified findings and track remediation activities through resolution.
• Coordinate new-vendor approval activities and ongoing vendor reviews in accordance with established vendor management requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

• Associates degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in multiple facets or mortgage lending

• Ability to communicate with customers, internal co-workers, vendors and other service providers in a timely and professional manner.
• Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem resolution.
