Contact Submission Sorting Assistant
Customer Service • Website Contact Sorting
Remote work / Full-time or part-time / 22.50–24.00 per hour
A public contact form can receive genuine questions alongside test entries, advertisements, and incomplete messages. The Contact Submission Sorting Assistant reviews assigned online submissions, routes real inquiries, and flags uncertain items under an approved guide. This remote position is not a cybersecurity role. You will not investigate malicious links or decide to delete a customer's message just because it is unusual.
Do not lose a real request
Some messages are clearly irrelevant, while others are short or written imperfectly but still ask for help. Read the available text and follow the employer's categories. If an attachment or link looks suspicious, do not open it outside the approved process; escalate it. If a name and email appear mismatched, note the concern rather than assuming the sender is fake. A genuine inquiry should reach customer service promptly, with office administration providing a clear record of how it was sorted.
When a submission belongs to a known service category, route it to the correct owner and preserve the original wording. If it is incomplete, the company may permit a focused follow-up question. Keep a log of the action taken and any pending review. Do not publish personal information or copy a questionable message into an unprotected team channel.
A website form may contain advertising, a duplicate message or an oddly worded but genuine customer request. Use the provided sorting rules and preserve uncertain messages for review. A submission that repeats an earlier case should be linked rather than silently discarded, particularly if the sender adds a new detail. Check the reply address and the requested subject before routing the item, but avoid opening an attachment outside the employer's permitted workflow. The receiving team should get the person's actual question and a clear reason for the destination you chose.
Possible work
- Read assigned website form entries in the online queue.
- Apply the supplied sorting categories and escalation rules.
- Route a valid service question to the responsible team.
- Flag an uncertain or suspicious item without interacting with its links.
- Ask for a basic missing detail where the process permits it.
- Record how each entry was handled.
- Preserve original submissions for the appropriate reviewer.
Previous inbox sorting or online customer service is welcome, but new applicants can learn the work. Training covers form categories, privacy practices and secure systems. You should be able to distinguish an unclear request from an obviously irrelevant one, and ask for review rather than making a risky guess.
A home office or private computer workspace supports incoming customer messages. The hiring company will confirm its queue and coverage.
An automated filter may already have flagged a submission. Treat that as a clue, not a final verdict. A genuine customer can type a short message with a link to their order page, while irrelevant promotions can contain ordinary business words. Follow the supplied examples and escalation route. If the system holds a message for review, record the action you took without modifying its original content.
You may be asked to report repeated irrelevant patterns to the form owner. Do so in a general way that does not publish personal details or require you to investigate an unknown sender. If a valid request was delayed, pass it to the correct team promptly with the original arrival time visible. The work is about keeping the intake channel usable while protecting legitimate inquiries from being overlooked.
If an item is clearly a test from the website team, follow its test-entry procedure so the team can verify the form without confusing the customer queue. When you are unsure whether a message is a test or a real request, seek review. A person may have sent the same inquiry twice because the confirmation did not appear; connect the two records where the process permits it. A simple routing note can prevent two departments from sending separate, inconsistent replies.
Applying
Show a time you sorted messages or requests carefully and referred an uncertain one. Examples from a club, school, or another job are welcome.
No security certification is expected. If your submission progresses, you may be invited to complete the employer’s website application. The employer will explain its sorting guidance at the next stage.
