itsme® has fundamentally changed how people lead their digital lives in Belgium, but we are not stopping there! Do you want to be a driving force to help expand on this success story as part of a talented team that is making a positive impact on society? Then keep on reading, you’ll probably like what you’ll see.
We are itsme®, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, with 150 team members and growing. Our mission: to provide a state-of-the-art digital identity solution for all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only nine years after being founded, close to 8 million citizens use the itsme® app to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched the itsme app in 32 European countries, with the ambition of becoming an internationally leading player.
As a Content Creator at itsme, you will produce the content that carries our story to the market. Articles and customer cases, keynote decks and speaker notes, webinar material, video scripts, newsletters and web pages, in Dutch and in English. You will work alongside our Content Marketing Manager, who owns content strategy and editorial direction, so that you can focus on what you do best: making great things. You will sit close to the people who build the product and the people who sell it, and you will spend a good part of your week turning what they know into something our B2B audience actually wants to read.
What your job looks like
Interview colleagues, partners and customers, and turn those conversations into articles, customer stories and long reads. The challenge is to get our busy experts to say the useful thing out loud, and then writing it down better than they said it.
Build and structure keynote decks, write speaker notes and talking cards for events, and turn what happened on stage into content afterwards.
Write and produce scripts for short video, webinars and product demos, together with our designers and external partners.
Publish and maintain content in our CMS: blog posts, landing pages, industry pages and newsletters, in two markets and two languages.
Turn one long-form piece into everything that follows it, from LinkedIn posts and newsletter items to sales one-pagers and slides.
Keep our content consistent with the itsme brand voice, and work through review cycles with marketing, legal and compliance.
You write to publication standard in Dutch and in English. English is our company language and the language of most of our B2B material. In the Netherlands, we’re taking a Dutch-first approach. You will switch between the two often.
Minimum four years of experience producing B2B content, preferably in a technical, financial or regulated environment.
You can interview someone who does not have time to explain themselves twice, and come back with something publishable.
Solid, practical SEO skills. You know how to do keyword and topic research, write titles, headings and meta descriptions that work, structure content around search intent, and handle internal linking. Awareness of how search is shifting towards AI answer engines is a real advantage.
Strong PowerPoint skills. Keynotes, partner briefings and sales material all start in a deck, and being able to build a clean, well-paced slide yourself is a serious plus here.
Experience with HubSpot CMS is a plus.
Curiosity about digital identity, fraud, security and regulation. You do not need to know yet what eIDAS or QES stands for, but you do need to want to find out.
Experience with basic design work (Figma, Canva is a plus.)
