About us

Cadrage builds apps for filmmakers that are used around the world on everything from indie sets to major productions you'd recognize from cinema and streaming. We recently launched Cadrage Studio (www.cadragestudio.com), our newest product.

We're a small company that has been around since 2012, with a strong reputation in the film industry. With a core team of three, plus a few freelancers, you will work in a close-knit team, without lengthy approval loops, and room to realize your ideas. Day to day, you'll collaborate closely with one of our founders, who spent many years working as a cinematographer.

What you'll do

Content creation: Design and build content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and our websites mostly by editing product assets, UGC and existing footage into finished posts.

Community management: Look after our channels, answer comments and messages, and build real relationships with our community

UGC management: Review, curate and repurpose material from filmmakers using our apps

Marketing and growth: Track what works and share those insights with the team

What you bring

You know your way around social media and have experience in content creation

Strong communication skills. You find the right tone, whether you’re handling community messages, reaching out to filmmakers and influencers, or writing captions for posts

Excellent written and spoken English. Nearly all our public communication is in English

A strong aesthetic sense and a good eye for visual language and storytelling

Interest in film and the craft of filmmaking

Comfortable with Apple hardware and software, and solid knowledge of image and video editing applications

Based in or around Vienna, German language skills are a plus but not required

What we offer

Hybrid setup: Usually 1-2 days a week at our office in Vienna's 15th district (dogs welcome), the rest remote

Flexible working hours, with good work-life balance

Working on products that some of the best filmmakers around the world use every day

Room for professional growth and the ability to make a difference in a small team

MacBook and iPhone provided

Salary

The position is covered by the Austrian IT collective agreement (Kollektivvertrag 2026 für Angestellte von Unternehmen im Bereich Dienstleistungen in der automatischen Datenverarbeitung und Informationstechnik). The collective agreement minimum for this position is €2.547 gross per month on a full-time basis (38,5 hours), paid 14 times a year. We're happy to pay above this depending on your qualifications and experience.
