About the role:

The Content Governance Manager ensures the Endoscopy organization delivers the right message, content, and solutions to the right customer at the right time while maintaining compliance with applicable Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and Quality standards.

This role leads content governance, review excellence, and continuous improvement while maintaining direct accountability for managing PSST/LRC review activities across an assigned portfolio of Endoscopy content assets. The manager partners proactively with content owners and Regulatory, Medical, Clinical, Compliance, Legal, Quality, and commercial stakeholders to improve submission quality, support efficient review cycles, and ensure adherence to applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) and governance requirements.

Working closely with the Content Operations & Governance Manager, this role helps balance review volume, provide cross-coverage, maintain consistent governance practices, strengthen audit readiness, and improve review efficiency. The position combines hands-on review execution and content owner enablement with functional leadership in governance standards and compliance excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage PSST/LRC review processes for an assigned portfolio of Endoscopy content assets, coordinating submission readiness, review priorities, timelines, rework and escalations while respecting designated functional approval authorities.
  • Serve as the primary consultative review-process partner for assigned content owners, providing proactive guidance throughout content development, submission, review and approval to improve quality and reduce avoidable rework.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory, Medical, Clinical, Compliance, Legal, Quality and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate reviews, resolve issues and align expectations.
  • Perform and coordinate submission-readiness and quality checks, including proofreading, documentation validation, reference verification and procedural compliance confirmation.
  • Partner with the Content Operations & Governance Manager to balance submission volume, maintain consistent practices and provide cross-coverage across assigned portfolios.
  • Lead the development, maintenance, interpretation and communication of content governance frameworks, SOPs and review standards, in partnership with appropriate policy and approval owners; coordinate implementation of changes.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify governance risks, address process gaps and support consistent application of requirements, serving as a subject matter expert for content owners.
  • Lead governance-related audit readiness, maintaining appropriate review documentation, controls and compliance evidence; support Claims Matrices, Regulatory MDR processes and related initiatives as needed.
  • Develop and deliver content owner onboarding, training and ongoing support on PSST/LRC requirements, governance standards, content quality and review best practices; identify knowledge gaps and improve submission readiness.
  • Lead improvements to review quality, governance adherence, stakeholder collaboration and cycle effectiveness, using metrics such as submission quality, review cycle time, rework and compliance effectiveness to inform content owners and division leaders.
  • Partner with the Content Operations & Governance Manager and platform stakeholders on workflow and system training, process standardization and appropriate automation while preserving compliance controls.
  • Share governance best practices with divisional and global teams and consult on cross-functional initiatives as requested.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of B2B communications, content governance or related experience in highly regulated industries (medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare capital or healthcare IT).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Regulatory, Clinical, Medical, Compliance and Legal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing content review processes, cross-functional workflows and multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Proven success in project planning, execution and timeline management.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to balance submission quality, compliance requirements and business timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting global content governance processes.
  • Experience leading audit readiness or compliance documentation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with digital content review platforms and workflow management systems.
  • Experience supporting omnichannel marketing or commercial content operations.
  • Experience improving regulated content review processes.

Key Competencies

  • Strong planning, documentation and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, consultative and solutions-oriented mindset; ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and trusted cross-functional relationship building.
  • High degree of accountability, ownership and attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance hands-on review execution with governance leadership and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional healthcare environment.
