Berlin, Germany - hybrid

At Sonova, we create innovative hearing care solutions that help people enjoy the delight of hearing. We are looking for a Contentstack Technical Platform Owner to join our Digital Platforms team and take technical ownership of a key platform powering our global digital presence.

In this role, you will be the technical authority for Contentstack, working at the intersection of engineering, business stakeholders, internal technology teams, and external development partners.

Your responsibilities

  • Take technical ownership of our B2C website platform based on Contentstack, Next.js and Azure, ensuring alignment with our digital architecture standards and platform roadmap
  • Drive engineering quality across the platform, covering security, accessibility, performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational stability
  • Define and promote engineering best practices for content structures, content modelling, workflows, localization, and authoring experiences
  • Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to assess requirements, technical feasibility, dependencies, complexity, risks, and long-term platform impact
  • Own technical release readiness, including environments, integrations, deployment prerequisites, rollback planning, and quality gates
  • Govern the technical quality and performance of external agencies and vendors and act as the technical acceptance authority for delivered solutions
  • Monitor the Contentstack roadmap, evaluate relevant new capabilities, and share expertise with internal teams and partners

What you bring

  • 7+ years of experience in web engineering, composable architectures, digital platform delivery, or enterprise content management platforms
  • 2+ years of hands-on headless CMS experience, ideally with Contentstack, including administration, engineering, or technical platform ownership
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL/REST APIs, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with web architecture, engineering standards, platform lifecycle management, technical debt, security, accessibility, performance, monitoring, and operational reliability.
  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into sound technical solutions.
  • Fluent English; German or another language is an advantage.

What we offer

This is an opportunity to take real technical ownership of Contentstack within Sonova. You will have the authority to influence platform decisions, improve software quality, reduce technical debt and defects, strengthen operational stability, and shape how the platform evolves as our digital ecosystem continues to grow.

As one of the world’s leading hearing care providers headquartered in Switzerland, we’re committed to building an inclusive culture. We want to create an environment where you can balance a successful career with your commitments and interests outside of work, through our flexible hybrid working model.

  • 30 days of paid annual leave
  • Subsidized VBB or Deutschland ticket
  • Dedicated learning & development budget and weekly learning time + LinkedIn Learning license
  • Company Urban Sports Club membership
  • Mobility allowance for relocation if you are relocating to join our team
