The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Contra & Local Partnerships Specialist who will play a key role in bringing our contra and Local Community Transaction partnerships to life through strong execution, partner coordination, and operational follow-through.

Working closely with the Manager, Promotion and Sponsorship, this role supports the successful activation of partnership agreements once they have been negotiated and approved. This position manages the day-to-day execution of contra and LCT commitments, including account setup, ad booking, creative collection, ticket management, on-site asset coordination, and tracking advertising delivery against contractual obligations. In addition, this role helps identify and pursue local partnership opportunities in smaller communities through contra and LCT arrangements that enhance our brand presence within the SMB community.

  • Builds strong working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and local community organizations.
  • Manages multiple partnership agreements, deadlines, deliverables, and partner expectations at the same time.
  • Coordinates the execution of advertising, sponsorship, promotional, and community partnership commitments.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with partners to collect creative assets, confirm requirements, and drive timely execution.
  • Maintains accurate records, bookings, ticket allocations, and fulfillment details across internal systems.
  • Balances operational detail with proactive partner support and local market development.
  • Works cross-functionally with Promotion and Sponsorship, Sales, Ad Operations, Marketing, Finance, and external partners.
  • Identifies local contra and LCT opportunities that support brand visibility and community engagement in smaller markets.
  • Has experience with our current suite of tools, including: HubSpot, Naviga, Excel, and related advertising operations platforms

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the execution of contra and Local Community Transaction partnerships once agreements have been negotiated and approved.
  • Work closely with the Manager, Promotion and Sponsorship to review partnership agreements, Contra Approval Forms, deliverables, timelines, and contractual obligations.
  • Set up contra and LCT accounts in HubSpot.
  • Book contra advertising and related commitments in HubSpot and Naviga, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with the contract.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Rep and partners to collect creative assets required for contra and LCT advertising campaigns.
  • Follow up with partners on outstanding creative, campaign materials, event details, ticket requirements, and activation needs.
  • Manage tickets associated with partnership agreements, including sporting events, corporate events, charity events, tables, seats, and hospitality assets.
  • Coordinate on-site assets connected to partnership agreements, including signage, event materials, partner recognition, and other activation requirements.
  • Track advertising delivery against contract commitments and ensure all contra and LCT obligations are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Prepare regular updates and reporting on campaign delivery, outstanding creative, ticket usage, fulfilled commitments, and remaining contractual obligations.
  • Flag risks, delays, or fulfillment gaps to the Manager, Promotion and Sponsorship and support resolution where needed.
  • Maintain organized records of partner deliverables, booked inventory, creative materials, ticket allocations, and fulfillment status.
  • Support smooth handoff and coordination between Promotion and Sponsorship, Sales, Ad Operations, Finance, and other internal teams.
  • Pursue local partnerships in small communities through contra and LCT opportunities to strengthen local brand presence within the SMB market.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, community groups, events, charitable organizations, and other partners that align with local market objectives.

Who you are:

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in partnerships, sponsorship, marketing, promotions, media, sales support, advertising operations, or a related field.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to follow up professionally and persistently with partners and internal teams.
  • Comfortable working with contracts, deliverables, advertising schedules, creative deadlines, and fulfillment requirements.
  • Able to translate partnership agreements into clear execution plans and track progress through to completion.
  • Experienced in coordinating advertising campaigns, sponsorship activations, partner deliverables, event assets, or community partnerships.
  • Confident using CRM, advertising booking, or order management systems. Experience with HubSpot and Naviga is considered an asset.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Compensation:

Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.

Base Salary: $45,000-$55,000
